In a very recent podcast of his, he exclaimed that Michelle Obama would be the perfect President and she is also married to the best President of our lifetimes. The real show stopper was that he said that she is so articulate. Remind you of someone who goes by the name of Let's Go Brandon?

I'm not quite sure what your point is, but I don't consider his proclamation about the Obamas to be trivial vmi. I don't expect someone to agree with me on everything, but to believe that Obama is the best President of our lifetime just goes over the line. I don't hate the guy, and he is most certainly entitled to his opinion, but goodness - to make such a claim is preposterous. Thanks for your opinion, I respect that as well.

I disagree with Joe Rogan on:

His advocacy of various kinds of drugs
All the F-Bombs he constantly drops
Some of the disgusting content from comedians he has on
His atheist views and 99% of his guests are atheist as well

Yet, I still listen. I fight through all that crap. I'm not really sure why. He stumbles on to some interesting content so I like that stuff. I'm also a fan of mma so that's why I listen.

I consider his claim to be a foundation of sorts. If he was disagreeing with me on marijuana legalization or reduction of prison sentences or making prison sentencing more harsh, that would be different. But Obama set race relations in this country back 30 years, in my opinion. He weaponized almost every part of the US gov't, including the IRS, DOJ, etc., etc.

If someone is not only in lock step with that man, but praises him as the greatest president of our lifetime, I call into question a lot of what he believe in. That is my opinion, and mine alone.

Dude voted for Bernie Sanders. I like him because he has intellectual curiosity. He isn't an NPC like the rest of the left.

I hear you. The reason that I am so disappointed is that I really like his opinion on several things. I too am in disagreement with his language, atheistic views, and so on. But, I could kind of look around that. But to think that one of the most harmful Presidents in our modern era is so very very great as to be proclaimed the greatest of our lifetime makes me question his entire belief system. Obama did horrible things to this country and continues to do so from the sidelines.

I love Joe but that is crazy. Sometimes I think he says things like this to inoculate him from being called right-wing or a Trumper.

At the end of the day, he's done more to advance hunting and gun rights and anyone I know. By saying he supports Bernie and Obama it makes his criticism of Democrst party policies all the more effective.

He's been red-pilled on Covid but that's not going to substitute for his decades of being in LA and absorbing all of the fake news during the Obama years.

I too overlook his likely atheist views and other things I don't like because the majority of the discussions he has are incredible and most of the topics are things I find very interesting.

Anothe reason I listen to him is his podcasts are 3hours long. You can put it on at the gym and in the car and it lasts for a long time without having to switch to another one. Despite the fact I've posted several times on this board today I avoid politics.

Any other Non-political interesting podcasts and I'm open to switching to those.

I enjoy Rohan and his show and overlook things like this.


But this is why I don't want him and his west coast brethren moving to Texas.

This is why I'm so disappointed. I disagreed with much of what he had to say, but I'm okay with that. But to claim that Obama was the greatest makes me questions his entire judgement system. I DO believe that his decades of being in LA and observing/absorbing that culture has a lot to do with it. If I were in that environment, I'd like to believe that I could withstand the onslaught of everything I'm against.

I describe him as a being emotionally a democrat, quirky libertarian in thought/behavior, and conservative when he fully engaged his brain.

He's just not able to get past his emotional foundation. He can have an intellectual conversation where he tracks right along and nods the whole way with a staunch conservative, and then his next standup session is betrays a clearly left worldview.

He'll talk all sorts of distrust of govt and Faucci and then fail to reevaluate his perspective on the Obamas in light of recent revelations.

Maybe someday he'll commit to the red pill, his intellectual realizations haven't penetrated deeply enough to fully adjust who he is.

In today's climate, those who are "at their peak" are most suspect at being considered overrated if you ask me. We live in a toxic culture where bad is worshipped as good and good is the exact opposite. Up is down and down is up.
