Read that dudes twitter, holy cow is he a bigot looking for validation.
Validation means followers making him money.
Validation means followers making him money.
And he was so indistinguishable from everyone else Judas had to give a sign to point him out from the crowd.Quote:
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him

I've never seen a depiction of Jesus as a light skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed "surfer" dude.
Ever.
Most of the depictions are dark haired and dark skinned for a germanic person. The degree of dark is one you'd see in the native Western European population. But who cares. People should imagine and conceive the pictures that help their own personal connection.ABATTBQ11 said:

I got these cloróxed cretins triggered and all up in their feelings about Jesus not being white.

They can’t stand the fact that the deity they worship actually looks like the people they have oppressed.
Fairly certain that would cover black and white as well.Quote:
Galatians 3:28 King James Version (KJV 1900)
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

I think the pastors tweet was more of acknowledging and informative. Nothing in his tweet suggest he was saying people only worship because they thought he was of a particular race. People around this time of year tend to point out some of the historical inaccuracies surrounding the Xmas holiday.
Xmas? There it is.Quote:

I think Jesus Christ didn't really exist and they used Krishna, the Indian diety from even earlier and took stories from his life and modified and created it. Read it, life stories are very similar, even the name seems similar.
Quote:
The claim that "Christ" comes from Krishna is completely baseless, because Christ is Greek for "anointed one" and Krishna is an unrelated personal name.

No "Christ" in Christmas anymore, just Malcolm X.

Actually "X" is the Greek letter for Christ, so it's just fine to use.

This. The renaissance painters, drew Jesus as a European, mainly due to the fact that that it is the only identity they were familiar with. Find a true Palestinian (some Palestinians have been in the Levant since the time of Jesus), that would be the face of Jesus.PascalsWager said:Most of the depictions are dark haired and dark skinned for a germanic person.
