One flight canceled, next flight oversold. Both because of maintenance issues. Is there any soft strike going on or is this regular United BS?

Regular United BS and any airline for that matter during the holidays
Of course it was for that. In what universe did you think it was okay to post a naked man spreading open his butt cheeks on our platform?

It's regular air travel period. Worse during the holidays. Flight attendants make 3x pay over the next 10 days just to get enough to show up on the holidays.

Maybe they are down on labor because of the forced vax? Maybe they can't get parts because of Biden's ****ed up economic policies? Chestfeeder doesn't seem too interested in solving the supply chain issue on the west coast.

Typical United. We had a flight to Philly canceled because of a maintenance issue, and the only airport nearby they could get us to that day was Baltimore, which with a 3 month old (at the time) was an issue. My BIL drove down to pick us up. Oh, or original flight was around 8am, so it's not like it was the end of the day and their flights were winding down. Nothing into Philly via ORD, DCA, EWR, or CLE.

Wife and I flew up to Anchorage via United with a short layover in SEA. Get to SEA to find out our flight to ANC was cancelled for mechanical issues. They rebooked us on another United flight that was stopping in SEA for a short layover and then going into ANC. No biggie, right? Yeah, the flight was originating in IAH and hadn't even left yet.

I hate United. But I'll give them credit where it's due...they haven't lost a gate checked bag like Southwest did.

This is not a United thing, it is an airline industry thing.
