Not long ago we'd see commercials for products like NyQuil Cold and Flu with a character (sick as a dog) would be going out and about town, riding the city bus etc., looking like complete dog ***** They'd take their medicine, feel better, and be walking out and about.

What happened to those?

The new commercials should have them being beaten by masked police and thrown into a camp.

Most commercials today have same sex or interracial couples. They are obviously not marketing their product to me.

Don't miss them, and they were false advertising anyway. Nothing you take is suddenly going to make you feel 100% better when you have the flu.

When you're sick, stay home and don't spread the misery around.

This was my position long before the China Virus (hated when people came to class sick and the next week half the class was out with it) and it still is.

That's how I've always felt as well. Why did schools have this mindset (and many parents) that "if you're not dying, you better be at school"?

Everytime I flew in the winter I'd be sitting near someone hacking up a lung and thinking "wtf is this person doing on a plane?!"

Heard a commercial on the radio on the way to work.

"Do you listen to classical music?"

Plays a classical jingle.

"Maybe you like rock"

Plays a rock jingle.

Did this for almost every style.. then..

"Regardless of what you listen to, you should get vaccinated".

It was a Pfizer commercial.

You will never convince me that this isn't the greatest hoax of all time.

People are ridiculous. It's ok to get sick. It's normal. It's part of life. WTF is happening!!! I feel like I live in crazy pants land!

The only one I see consistently is the 'Mucinex' commercials with that little green snot monster.

The big pharm commercials are getting out of control.

They got so much money they don't know what to do with it.

They've gone hog ass wild with the commercials.

I saw a "public service announcement" commercial with a doctor recommending to go see your doctor if you are having chest pains are heart issues. At the end of the commercial a very, very tiny Pfizer logo is at the bottom.

I've heard that one as well. It makes no sense and is dumb as *****

I just got my vaccine for an earache last week. Where were you? Next up, I am due for an ingrown hair vaccine at the local Walgreens and then plan to get vaccinated for that pesky bald spot on top of my head.
