I got offered a job after graduation and need to get vaxxed by end of January to work for them. To be clear, I drew the line in the sand at the beginning of this that I would never get it unless I had to for work. Well here we are and I'm just going to have to bite the bullet.

Anyways I was wondering the board's opinion on which vaccine is best for a 21 year old male healthy and in good shape. I'm leaning towards J&J because it's just one and done, but am not completely sold on it. Recommendations and advice is appreciated.

They say J&J is least effective but they've said a lot of dubious things. I like it cause it's a more traditional vaccine and not this mRNA stuff.

This is complete horse****, but what I did was get J&J, and have my doc put me on blood thinners for a month. Seemed the safest course of action to me.

I've found the best vax to be INNOCulation.

J&J is the most tested technology.

They say Johnson and Johnson is the least effective one and oldest technology, so probably that one.

Why blood thinners?

I'm in the same boat. My company isn't forcing it, but I'm a vendor for a device that is used in hospitals and clinics and they are a bunch of *****es with their vendor credentials and requiring vaccinated vendors. My company offers an exemption but there's nothing stopping the hospitals from refusing my exemption.

Im leaning to J&J for the same reasons. Also, Pfizer is shady as hell.

I really need to find a doc or someone who will shoot it into a trash can and give me a card…

Those actually are not very hard to find if you just know a few people, not sure about in W. Tx, but in Houston, they are fairly common.

Instead of asking a doctor to break the law and risk their medical license on your behalf, why don't you just print one and fill it out yourself?

Or, you could call around to doctors and see what they say about your little plan. Curious to hear how that goes.

I have a working immune system, so I can't help with the non-vaccine choice for something ~100% survivable. Sorry.

I got the J&J. A week later all the J&J bashing in media started. A month later my entire family had Covid, I stayed home, took care of them, slept next to my wife and never caught it. OP, If you're gonna get a shot I say J&J.
