He was targeting a specific group that he didn't agree with on a spiritual, political and/or racial level? But no hate crime.

He attempted and did cause mass panic. Fear and death. No domestic terrorism.

Should be charged with murder, hate crime and domestic terrorism.

Then once sentenced let's help out the tax payer by handing him over to whichever rival prison gang can do the world a favor.

I changed to a Posobiec thread and didn't realize the original tweet in the thread wasn't showing with the 2nd tweet.

The Poso tweet has the entire complaint while the one from the reporter only had a partial screenshot.

I am not convinced Brooks woke up that morning planning to hit people at the parade.

The stabbing was just off the parade route. 911 had been called, but there wasn't enough time for the police to respond before having to divert to the parade. So he wasn't being chased but had a reasonable assumption that he would be shortly.

Brooks went south after the stabbing, only way out was Main St without turning around and going back past the scene of the stabbing.

Now what went through his mind between breaking through the barricade and deciding to speed up and hit a bunch of people… who knows. I could see that in that instance he made up his mind to be a terrorist because of hate.

Side streets were only AFTER breaking through the barricade. I agree he could have gotten out if he wanted, but there was some decision made in those few moments and I agree those decisions could be terroristic/hate fueled. The first part leading up, not as convinced.

I am not convinced the 9/11 terrorists woke up that morning planning to take down the multiple targets.

The World Trade Center was just off the NYC flight route route. The feds had been warned, but they ignored the reports so nobody stopped the flights. They weren't being chased but had a reasonable assumption that they would be shortly.

The Twin Towers were just on the path of the hijacker's joy ride, they weren't well trained pilots so it's possible they just ran into them on accident.

Now what went through the minds of the second group on the other plane hitting the towers… who knows. I could see that in that instance he made up his mind to be a terrorist because of hate.
