Lots of car bombings without casualties. If poor Timothy McVeigh could blow up that many people think what special forces teams and spies trained in sabotage could do! Man those mad Ukrainian bomber sure need some training.
Many people made differing predictions. Problem with predicting in this case is dealing with a dictator who has a warped agenda and tends to not think within the bounds of ethics or morality.Rossticus said:
I'm not quite ready to defer to you expert opinion just yet.
Lots of brilliant TexAgs minds postulated that Putin would never go into Ukraine and everyone would cave to his demands. So, just hold tight now lil buckaroo.
It still amazes me anyone voted for this corrupt, unethical, lying piece of human flotsam.will25u said:FLASHBACK VIDEO! Now the water is approaching the temperature to make proper tea. Putin runs a mafia, treat it like one. They hide assets with family, bodyguards, chefs. They buy politicians to protect them. Expose it all. Kick them back to the Putin police state they helped build. https://t.co/cOBVaJH0sQ

The Russian bank, VEB, just sanctioned by @POTUS is a big one and a strategic one, very close to Putin. Its current Chairman, Igor Shuvalov, served for many years as the first deputy prime minister. He is very close to Putin.

Hope they continue to. These guys don't want to be there any more than Ukraine wants them there. They've watched their buddies die in Syria while Putin sweeps the deaths under a rug like a dirty secret instead of treating them like heroes. They know the score.
Next the Russians are going to claim that an old Ukranian lady attacked their horses with a walker.jabberwalkie09 said:The False Flag attacks continue, how much fake justification does Russia feel it needs????

I hope Ukraine hits them hard early and this could get interesting. Javelins are pretty bad ass and they have a lot.
As expensive as large vehicles like tanks and airplanes are becoming - really the best thing is heavily armed infantry with AT and AA capabilities. Cheap and able to produce/buy lots of them. Great as a defensive deterrent.GAC06 said:Rossticus said:GAC06 said:

I lived and worked in the Donetsk region from 2016-18, on both sides of the contact line. Civilians in both govt- and separatist-controlled areas would say they were tired of conflict, wanted peace, & feared renewed fighting. Thinking a lot of those people now. 1/x

Yep, mobility and survivability is the weakness though. Russia demonstrated how effective cheap drones can be when combined with good ole artillery. Azerbaijan did a lot of damage to Armenia similarly more recently.
