I doubt such a person exists as portrayed. There's a lot of propaganda going on both sides right now. My understanding is Russia bombed Ukraine's air assets and fuel depots day one. There may be a pilot flying in and out of Ukraine from Poland or something. And likely Ukraine government is making him larger than life to encourage their people.

Why not believe he's shot down 20 Russian jets if people on Twitter want to play make believe? Or how about 50. Heck let's say he's flying right now to bomb Moscow. This is what happens with a generation that watches too many super hero movies and Star Wars crap. They want to believe in fake hero stories to feel better.

Ultimately this will lead to every captured Ukraine pilot being humiliated on video and shared around by Russians claiming to have captured this made up person.
