This is a good question. I read somewhere that Biden's home state of Delaware had stricter voting regs/laws than the new Texas and Georgia laws.

Our federal government wants to control states rights. Why should we continue with the union if the union does not respect us?

Do the Feds have standing? How is the federal government wronged by Texas voting standards if previously they were not wronged by many states casting their laws aside? Texas is merely cleaning up its existing laws.
