Police cracked the skull of a protestor. Video of the aftermath here (nsw warning, lots of blood).

Apparently the police have been salivating at the thought of cracking some skulls:

They have been firing baton rounds indiscriminately at all protestors. Not a surprise this happened at all. The police will not be on your side in a brewing civil war.

They see citizens as retail workers see customers, or fast food workers see customers, or elitist politicians see their constituents. A portion of them no doubt will gladly follow orders.

The huge difference between here and Australia...guns...we have lots and lots of guns. The military and police that I know would not stand for things like this. Obviously you will have some bad guys, but I think a vast majority will side with we the people.

Houston PD endorsed Ted Cruz over Beto. We are not Australia. Even if we have plenty of bad apples. Every cop I know is a good person, but solidly on the right.

Some good police out there. A lot of bad ones that may talk a big game about being a good cop, but... "I'm just following orders" is a huge problem.

And what a temptation when you have mouths to feed at home.

I don't envy their job, but its time for them to make up their mind as to which side they are on. If they don't decide now, the bigger the temptation will be to "just follow orders".

Choose wisely.

Not true. We will roll over and do nothing. Just like we did for a stolen election. The Founders would already be at war for such a violation, as would the Confederates, and the Texicans. We will do nothing but comply.

We are too worried about our 401k, our kid's game, and our comfort.
