I like this idea. I have been suggesting this for a while. Abbott should put them all on a bunch of planes and fly them to Washington DC with a note that says you created this problem Joe you fix it.

Don't democrats have the votes to just raise the debt ceiling if they made it stand alone? I thought that was one of the things that couldn't be filibustered.

Border patrol and Homeland security law enforcement are considered "essential personnel" and continue to work even though they do not get paid.

The same goes with the Military and other government agencies which are considered "essential".

I worked through three of them.

Yes, but they're hoping to use the vote on it to end the filibuster if the Republicans block it, which is why they filled it with poison pills.

If they end the filibuster and run over Manchin and Sinema and others by doing so and unilaterally pass their economy ending bill, not only should TEXIT immediately be voted on, but Florida should too.
