How far are you able to go to not get vaccinated?

Question is title. I'm sure some of us are in better positions than others to take on the losses that would go with refusing to take the jab. Curious to hear who is where on how far they are able to take it. Asking as someone who got J&J due to my risk level being elevated above folks that are the same weight and age as me.
I'm not sure if people genuinely believe someone is going to say, "Wow, if some people say I'm a moron for not believing this, it clearly must be true."

It's not much a persuasive argument. It really just sounds like a bunch of miniature dachshunds barking because the first one one barked when it thought it heard something.

Some people were willing to even get covid and die to avoid it. Hard to top that one.

It must suck being a Coronabro. A virus that lives rent free in your head

According to John Hopkins University my chances of dying of COVID are 0.2 to 0.8/1,000,000. Which is less than the odds of dying from a lightening strike. So remind me again why I need to rush out and get a new vaccine?

Strange. I haven't heard of that many people dying in a lightning strike which seems also interesting enough for acquaintances to mention if it happened to someone they knew.

People reacted the exact same way when seatbelts were mandated to be fair.

Do you go generally play around outside during electrical storms? Or do you take precautions?

My guess the federal mandate, which nobody should support, isn't going to ever happen.

Also you should probably sober up before posting.

Know one person that died from a lightning strike. Also saw 2 people in a boat struck and killed by lightning on Lake Fork.

I don't know anyone that has died from covid.

You have a greater chance of dying in a car wreck wearing a seat belt everyday than from the virus.

"Able" and "willing" are differentiated very harshly for many people. I would have had to give up practicing medicine as the cost of refusing the vax.

You need to never drive, and never go outside. Maybe line your shower and all walls with padding just to be sure.

I do not ever wear a seat belt when in an automobile. I get to determine the risks that I am willing to take.

I'll actually answer the question. I would probably start to get uncomfortable after a couple years of unemployment if my job forced a mandate. I 'm not there so I can't really say how far I'd be willing to go.

I live life carelessly Bo Darville. Why else would I have volunteered to deploy to Iraq 3 times with Blackwater?

I get to decide what risks are acceptable to me, not the government.

A conservative can have an opinion about someone else's life. Where I draw the line is using government to force a change in their behavior.

Jesus this is dumb. Let me help you here. Not everyone's risk is the same. Each person's risk is age dependent and co-morbidities. Infact most people who die with COVID are over the age of 60 with 2 or more co-morbidities.
So the risk of a 30 y/o in good health is not the same as the risk of someone who is 80 with COPD, cancer and hypertension.

If you would follow the like I provided from John Hopkins it will help you estimate your risk.
