I knew the Biden Administration was full of Marxists who want to destroy this country but I honestly didn't think it would be this fast. Did anyone? We now have a general officer thinking it is acceptable to call a foreign government in contradiction to their civilian leaders policy, to state he would let the enemy know beforehand when we would attack, and he is so confident there will be no consequences he signs off on it being used in a book. He should be put in front of a military tribunal, after conviction reduced rank to private, no benefits for his family, and he should be shot. We are so far gone not sure we can get back without something like convention of states, armed conflict, or secession. Even up to 10 months ago I wouldn't have thought that

Milley is an advisor to the POTUS not a policy maker nor does he have ANY authority in the chain of command. in the executive branch. As Consigliere any calls to "counterparts" would have to be cleared with the POTUS who he reports to. This explanation is complete BS.

When the military (and the bureaucrats) start to usurp the elected officials that they are supposed to report to, then we are just a few steps away from an authoritarian regime's takeover of the government.

I don't see it as CYA, though I do agree it's treason. If anything, his statement is attempting to justify his actions, as opposed to denying them, which indicates he's a true believer. This man really believes he prevented a nuclear war.

And why not? There are no penalties to actions committed by the left. This is a society where payment is issued, not in dollars, but in sanctimony. His ends justified his means, and he believes himself to be pure as a result. The left is hailing him a a "hero" for this. His conscience is probably clear. If you think about it, it's as terrifying as it is infuriating.

If true, Milley put it in the heads of China's leadership that a sneak attack upon China was a definite possibility. If true, that was an extraordinarily dangerous and destabilizing act. If true, Milley has demonstrated himself to be out of touch and paranoid.

Even before this allegation, Milley has proven to be a political partisan as well as incompetent.

It's unlikely that Milley will face any accountability as he faithfully serves the party.
