Self-Defense: Black Minneapolis Man Beaten to a Pulp After Returning Fire at Apparently Unmarked Van Filled with Cops Is Acquitted of All Charges
Jaleel Stallings, 29, was arrested last year for returning fire at police officers, and claimed he did not know the people shooting were officers because they were in an unmarked vehicle. Stallings was charged with attempted murder and found not guilty earlier this year. On Sept. 1, he was acquitted on all eight charges stemming from the incident, The Minnesota Reformer reported.

Footage obtained by the Minnesota Reformer also shows that officers beat Stallings after he fired at the officers.
--------------------
Stallings testified that he realized he had been firing at police officers when the SWAT team jumped out of the vehicle. He dropped his weapon and laid on the pavement. During the beating that followed, Stallings' eye socket was fractured.

Fort Worth Man Who Shot Texas State Trooper Faces No Charges
A Fort Worth man who shot a Texas State Trooper is facing no charges after learning a plainclothes man outside his front door, and who had followed him home in what he thought was an act of road rage, was a law enforcement officer.
In an interview, Russell King said he and his wife Myra were driving home near Haslet on April 23 when he saw two pickups that appeared to be racing behind him.

"Two trucks came flying by us at a high rate of speed," King said.

One of the vehicles exited the highway and the other ended up right in front of them.
------------------------------------
"I visibly see him look in his mirror, shake his head like this, and that's when he brake-checked me," King said. "It was very deliberate."

"Brake check" refers to someone slamming on the brakes, forcing the car behind them also brake suddenly.

King said he thought it was road rage especially when the driver started chasing him, even onto a Walmart parking lot.

"That's where I saw him giving me the finger," he said.

Concerned for the safety of him and his wife, King said he tried to speed away through traffic but the driver kept coming.

he Kings said they thought they finally lost him, got home, backed into their garage, and immediately called 911.

A few minutes later, the same man in the same pickup pulled up in front of their house.

King said he watched on his live camera system as the man pulled what he thought was a gun out of the back -- and then approached the house and knocked loudly.

"I've never been so scared in my life. I really felt as if he were there to harm my wife and I," King said. "I yelled, 'Please go away. We called 911.'"

The camera captured what happened next.

King shot through the door. The man was hit in the shoulder and ran.

Fort Worth police and a uniformed state trooper quickly arrived and took King and his wife into custody.
--------------------------------------------
It was then, handcuffed, in the back of a squad car, King said he was shocked to learn the truth.

"He told me, 'You've shot a state trooper.' My response was, 'How?'" King said.

The trooper, later identified as William Wallace, was a special agent assigned to criminal investigations and worked in plainclothes.

"There was no identification whatsoever," King said. "There was no vest. There was no badge. Just a brown shirt and jeans."
--------------------------------------
Then, about two weeks ago, a grand jury heard his case and declined to charge him with a single crime.
Great outcome there.
Was the dirty cop fired?

Case #1 - sounds like they overcharged with attempted murder; I'd like to know what precipitated the guy firing at the van... sounds like the SWAT team opened up on him and he returned fire - why were they firing at him in the first place?

Case #2 - good outcome; what is a special agent to criminal investigations doing brake-checking drivers on a highway and chasing them back to their homes? Do some real police work into real crimes and don't "create" crimes on the highway...

I hate the police cars that have their writing in the lightest grey coloring possible with a little visible lights on the car as possible.

Such a deceiving way to police people.

I agree with this... except on #2 the cop should be severely reprimanded or even fired because of this behavior. Unacceptable.

Everyday we get closer to the race war
I'm not sure if people genuinely believe someone is going to say, "Wow, if some people say I'm a moron for not believing this, it clearly must be true."

It's not much a persuasive argument. It really just sounds like a bunch of miniature dachshunds barking because the first one one barked when it thought it heard something.

Yes, he thought he was being attacked by non police and defended himself.

What these people did was reasonable.
They went home, called the police and waited while this union (censored) bureaucRAT banged on their door with a gun. They even told him to go away. No badge, no "Police, you must respect my authority.".

Sounds like they were firing rubber bullets at a crowd. The governor is at fault in that deal bc he pushed the false narrative of white supremacists roaming the streets.
