China is much more a fascist style country now than they are communist. They promote traditional Chinese culture, family (they now had a 3 kid limit), and nationalism as well as the promotion of Chinese goods and services above all.

They aren't a good country but they are nothing like Red China under Mao. They shifted gears entirely just like the Soviets did under Stalin, but to an even greater extent. The big problems China has now is how to get rid of the cheap Chinese crap issue, improve environmental standards such that they don't have an ecological disaster on their hands, and reduce corruption in business and government. These are all very very hard things for them to do. I'm not sure they will overcome just one of these issues, much less all 3.

This is why we need better education on the differences between communism and fascism. They are both very authoritarian but in practice leagues apart in what they promote.

The revolution was against the " Four olds " Old Ideas, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Customs
same thing commies here are trying to do ! but add language ,history , values and borders
