It's not getting out of Afghanistan that is the issue, it's HOW he decided to get out of Afghanistan, and the fact that he's double-downed on it rather than admitting this was a really, really terrible exit strategy.

If he had a spine, he would have listened to the military rather than the Secretary of State and his political advisors. If he had a spine, he would reverse course NOW and try to save lives.

Umm, DJT isn't president, and had no plans to abandon kandahar AB in the middle of fighting season, nor to set a hard deadline to be out in the midst of fighting season. .Trump's plan was based on conditions being met on the ground which would make a withdrawal safe.

Biden tries to leave in the middle of the night and abandon Afghani allies and Americans.

ISIS was a creation of Western intelligence agencies like the CIA, Mossad, etc. The Taliban are completely separate and independent. As far as I know, these groups do not get along, at all.

We didn't have to be in this position. We have military support contingents in something like 25 nations. They vary in size from large ones such as South Korea and Germany to small ones of a few hundred in places like Sudan and Iraq.

Why Biden suddenly decided to completely and unilaterally pull our small support contingent out without any negotiations and deals with our allies and the Afghan factions there is mystifying, considering they were already doing what was needed and no more with zero casualties in the last 18 months. It seems from unofficial information that Biden was simply looking for a success to declare. It turns out to have been a selfish act.

If the goal was to save lives, it was unnecessary. If the goal was to reduce military spending, it is very unclear the long term effects of this abrupt pullout snd empowerment of our opposition in the region and globally will achieve that either.

So Joe signed umpteen executive orders to reverse everything Trump did in office on his first day, but he, as commander in chief, couldn't redeploy troops to Afghanistan or come up with a better plan (much less a plan) to pull out? It's not like this just came up. He's been in office for 8 months. He was on the campaign trail and president elect even longer, so he should have been intimately familiar with the situation. HE KNEW THIS WAS COMING.


Yet here we are in a complete ****ing debacle with 0 plan, leadership, or responsibility. What happened to, "The buck stops here"?

This whole mess would've never happened if we evacuated every American and Afghan ally before leaving. If you think these bombings are bad wait until we see what happens when the last foreign soldier is off the ground there.

Thousands of people are gathered at the airport and at the border and they can't go anywhere. Democrats have intentionally created a Holocaust level situation and we won't know why because we don't have an honest media or an intelligent populace.

May 1 If and only if security and political conditions were met. They were not, so the withdrawal had been suspended under that policy, until Biden went looking for a political splash.
