Good call. We've got more weapons than people. How's that working out for us currently?
We haven't reached that point yet.
They've destroyed their economy worse than we have and now are talking vaccine passports to even leave your home. Biden is headed that direction but just hasn't quite gotten there. Australia appears to be the testing grounds.

I will applaud when it happens. The consent of the governed in western democracies is taken for granted and the elite have no fear of losing their grip. That dynamic will change.

Don't think Biden will continue that way. The border fiasco and the betrayal of the military has genuinely revived both secession and rebellion as common talk. The situation is awfully brittle. Look at the fjb chants even in blue states. The govt would already be under siege if it was behaving just like Australia's now.

If you took a poll how many have a national feeling toward DC the results would probably be interesting.

Police cracked the skull of a protestor. Video of the aftermath here (nsw warning, lots of blood).

He later died.

Apparently the police have been salivating at the thought of cracking some skulls:

They have been firing baton rounds indiscriminately at all protestors. Not a surprise this happened at all. The police will not be on your side in a brewing civil war.

Serious answer - lockdown of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and the Northern Beaches.

When they start locking down the Australian upper class, all hell will break loose.

Right now, they've only locked down Western Sydney which is primarily immigrants and refugees.

When the Brits, Irish and Scots start getting locked down, it will get serious.

Have a look at this map of LGAs (Local Governmental Areas) in the Sydney area.

How does a baton round compare to a rubber bullet in risk factor?

Problem is it's not Biden. The people making these decisions are hidden behind the curtain and he's just the willful idiot. They are fundamentally transforming our country and won't stop until that's accomplished.
Hmmmm.......who at one time said that was his goal?

Yes, that's a top candidate. Especially when also mentioned could just "govern by earpiece" in another setting.

But Biden bears a good bit of guilt. To allude to the Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force" -- he is no John Gill.. He is mean-spirited, wicked in intent, despotic in manner, and possibly a perv.

But that's just it -- this "fundamental transformation" ----- even as they keep going on about January, do they have any idea how many feel about the top and the system now? That's what is so tone-deaf.

If I lived in Australia yes I would be organizing against the police right now who are attacking citizens on a daily basis.
That sounds good. But I meant that if you were there instead of the person with the camera. Would you have physically attacked that cop during his manhandling of that female victim?

That is correct. With all their faults, and wobbliness, they are the only reason. That and the 2nd A at the moment.

What will be the test is when the Dems get enough power to try to force Australia. Will the choice be then to use them (correct) or to submit (incorrect).

The republicans are responsible for the patriot act. They're every bit as complicit as the democrats; two sides of the same coin.

Republicans support harsh treatment of terrorists, Democrats expand the definition of who is a terrorist to include those with wrong think. Republicans then give lip service to stopping it but ultimately don't.

This is why Oak Tree's schtick on here is so tired and old and lame. We know we have crappy RINOs in office. It's an entire establishment we're up against made up of Republicans and Democrats.

2A is the ONLY reason we aren't like Australia now. Republicans have nothing to do with it.

Edit: what I mean is without 2A we'd be facing this and Republicans in office would say "NO I AM AGAINST THIS" and then ultimately do almost nothing meaningful because it doesn't apply to them.

Read some posts on the enough thread. Agree that the GOP-e is not the real key or what needed. You may even be right that they would have already caved if not for the 2nd.

It's a big obedience game. They have enough of a majority that are hectoring totalitarians that the game has moved to feeling morally justified in beating people that disagree with them.

They're in the "cheering on police dogs and firehoses" phase.

SYDNEY, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Sydney residents who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 risk being barred from various social activities even when they are freed from stay-at-home orders in December, New South Wales state Premier Gladys Berejiklian warned on Tuesday.

Under a roadmap to exit lockdown in Australia's biggest city, unvaccinated people are already subject to delays in freedoms that will be gradually granted to inoculated residents between Oct. 11 and Dec. 1.

Berejiklian said people who choose not to be vaccinated could be barred entry to shops, restaurants and entertainment venues even after the state lifts all restrictions against them on Dec. 1.

"A lot of businesses have said they will not accept anyone who is unvaccinated," Berejiklian told Seven News on Tuesday. "Life for the unvaccinated will be very difficult indefinitely."

The two-tier system, designed to encourage more people to get vaccinated, has been criticised for both penalising vulnerable groups who have not had access to inoculations and for falling short of providing a real incentive for the vaccine hesitant.

Pubs, cafes, gyms and hairdressers will reopen to fully vaccinated https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/sydney-set-unveil-freedom-roadmap-more-covid-19-curbs-eased-2021-09-27 people on Oct. 11 in New South Wales, home to Sydney, and more curbs will be eased once 80% of its adult population becomes fully vaccinated, expected by the end of October.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian RESIGNS amid corruption investigation

BREAKING: NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has resigned after the ICAC investigation revealed that she had engaged in conduct that constituted a breach of public trust.

Berejiklian has been the subject of an ICAC investigation which sought to determine if she breached public trust by failing to reveal a conflict of interest between herself and her then-partner Daryl Maguire the NSW Member for Wagga Wagga.

The premier was advised last night about an ICAC statement which was released today concerning historic matters.

Kind of crazy that they have to get her for some conflict of interest rather than her policies and conduct toward the Australian people in her region. But whatever works.

If you had 1 million individuals ready to die, armed with pitchforks, bats, and molotovs ............. and you marched to the capital and did not stop until they mowed everyone down or you take over.........

So if they mowed you down, other countries would have to stand up for the people and if the US did not, then we should do the same to our capital.

or

They take over the capital.
