It's not about leaving people alone. It's about forced compliance.

The *goal* is to make it worse, and show that the power and authority of the state cannot be challenged or even questioned.

I wonder how much of this is a result of Australia's proximity to China? We know the Chinese have infiltrated our universities and even the staffs of sitting Congressman. At the end of the day the Aussies have to take their freedom back, but it does make you wonder how deep the CCP's tentacles are in the closest geographic Western nation to their power center in the mainland.

Maybe we can do a swap. Texas 2.0 in Australia and let the sheep from there come here to join the woke-fest a brewing. Populations about the same. Straight up trade.

It's already being proposed. NPR reported yesterday that several states have announced they are about to implement "critical care standards" which means rationing. If you aren't vaccinated and end up in bad shape you get "scored" poorly and get no care or less care.

You are triaged out and away.

Missing one produce shipment to one store doesn't mean there's an all out nation wide trucker strike..... If the truckers were truly on strike from the initial 9/1 date, the shelves would already be empty throughout the country.

I hope it happens but we need way more data points before claiming victory.

The way they are managing this they will have one of the longest lingering covid impacts of any country on the planet. All they are doing is delaying the inevitable unless a fool proof vaccine is created which will never happen.

Massive civil disobedience may be the only way to stop these tyrants. Especially since they disarmed the country. I hope if the Aussies are able to take back their country, they put these monsters on trial for war crimes against humanity.

It's obviously happening to our police and military too, really fast.

Been flying to Australia for 5 years. They treat vaccinated crew members like convicts and police have no sense of humor when we laugh at their silly rules. After landing we are escorted by police to our rooms and can't open the hotel room door until departure.

Who is even flying in and out of Australia these days?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to risk entry, since they might be barred from leaving.

You're talking about a group of people who are trained to not question orders. Maybe they push back if they were alone but in the end extremely few are going to want to be the first one to question orders as part of a group.
