Some people just have to touch the stove in order to know it's hot and will deny any evidence you try to show them until they get burned themselves.

Apparently Muy got seriously burned and is still telling people to touch the stove. The level of denial is maddening.
You seem so very sure about things you can't possibly be sure of. Maybe assume responsibility for your own health and let others assume responsibility for theirs.

This is why I continue to wait on getting the vaccine. We still don't know everything there is to know and we are flying by the seat of our pants in the present moment without knowing what's ahead.

Waiting on Novavax and will assess that one when it's available.

why is it taking so long for Novavax?

I will not be participating!

Unfortunately when the vax passports roll out this fall you will be required to show proof of your vax compliance to buy goods, have a job, and travel. Of course, this will be "private companies" enforcing this so it's ok

Not sure but I've seen some reports that the CEO has said they are not getting the same ease of transition to the market that the mRNA guys got.

I follow Alex Berenson. In his latest post, he reports that Israel found the Pfizer shot(s) last around 4 months.

Quote:

In other words, the Israel failure is happening right on schedule. Vaccine protection lasts months, not years. (Four months, give or take, since protection is limited the first month and likely negative the first week or two.)

Thus Bennett's desperate call for a third shot. But although the booster does seem to produce new antibodies, neither the Israeli government nor Pfizer nor anyone else can know whether it will reduce infections or deaths, either temporarily or permanently. NO ONE HAS CONDUCTED ANY CLINICAL TRIALS TO DETECT THESE ENDPOINTS OR TO EXAMINE THIRD SHOT SIDE-EFFECTS IN ANY DETAIL. (I looked at this issue last week in a different Substack.)
Berenson was suspended from Twitter once. His book on Amazon was banned. He must be "over target."

Follow his Substack here.

That's not why he was suspended on Twitter for a week. He was banned for attempting to link vaccines with The Holocaust.

Should I tell folks not to drive cars if I'm injured in a wreck?

A more apt comparison would be for you to tell people not to wear seatbelts if you were ejected from the vehicle in said wreck.

Dr. Anthony Fauci says there's new evidence that a COVID-19 vaccine may not just protect the people who get it but also shield others whom they come in contact with.

"There have been some studies that are pointing into a very favorable direction," Fauci, the director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Wednesday during a White House COVID-19 briefing.

This or that mandate or policy is (at best) based on some gut feeling that is reflective of a snapshot in time. People like Fauci, who said the above in February, or Wallensky who said it even stronger around the same time had no basis for saying what they did. They talk out of their asses constantly.

The most plausible explanation is that they want mRNA tech to be embraced as a cure-all for everything viral even if it works far less effectively than what they they had to imply to encourage people to take it. They'll trot these things out for every virus known to man soon and do their level best to require everyone to get them.

Just another facet of this "pandemic" that is akin to the flu.

-same methods of transmission
-same methods to try and keep from infection: washing hands and not touching face (all else is moronic bull****) and a yearly Flu/Fru shot.

Thankfully, it's less deadly than the flu, overall, for most of humanity or else we'd possibly be in danger.

Problem with that is it doesn't address the central point of the post. The messengers --- Democrats and MSM are pathological liars and toxic in agenda ---- they are creating a new level of skittishness in pushing this so hard when the actual virus just isn't that risky to most ages.

Particularly intolerable is imposing it on kids and pregnant women. If having to deal with either, the one trying to force it would regret it.

Not an anti-vaxxer at all -- but in this month might have become one if a few months ago had been like the tone now. Back then it just made taking a trip easier.

There's even more issues that concern people hesitant to take the jab like me. The liability protections that the pharma companies have is big. The other is religious conviction. A ton of Black and Hispanic families are deeply religious and with these mandate restrictions with respect to commerce and travel unless you have the vax mirror a passage in Revelations regarding the mark of the beast. What's developing is a huge roadblock for devout Christians.

Absolutely agree with that one too. It does resemble that enough to give pause. But mainly, again, because KNOWN wicked policy makers are pushing it so hard. For example, if it was more benign govt and party doing it, the assumption that it resembles Revelation could come less easily imo.

It doesn't help that other elements that a devout Christian may have noticed are also present. Lets just say its a great time to be a fundamentalist Christian and a pretty bad time to be the more "the future looks so bright" type regarding the evolution of man.

I actually discussed this with my priest and his response was, " it's kinda scary, isn't it?" I'll never take the jab, or my son, and IDGAF who is offended by that.

He wasn't linking the vaccines, he was linking the passports to the Holocaust.
