That's not reconciling. On the one hand you say private business can do what it wants... on the other hand you say the government will penalize private business.Proper Twelve said:Rapier108 said:
If anyone doesn't think this isn't going to happen in much of the country, they're flat wrong.
Masks will be back in force very soon, even if not mandated you'll see most people wearing them again.
Some states or cities/counties will likely impose lock downs again.
What we will see is the "totalitarian libertarian" method again where "private businesses" will require masks and vaccines. And since "private businesses" can do whatever they want, it's not the government doing it so who cares. Also the government will be penalizing "private businesses" who don't go along with it.
Well see
Glad to hear that. Hopefully enough of them do it and rebuke Newsom and his shenanigans to swing the runoff to Larry Elder's favorVegasAg86 said:

If we go back to 2020 then this is partly a strategy to permanently get UBI in place.
We have moved beyond the science and disease part of this pandemic and are 100% in leftist political outcome territory. The Delta variant is being pushed as this super deadly strain and it's one of the least severe strains out there according to the UK Public Health department.
What happened to Lambda in Peru? I'm guessing they got enough people to get scared from Delta that they currently don't need to push Lambda right now.
Lambda will be the next thing, but right now Delta has enough currency left to generate at least a month of fear porn.Quote:

Covidians, and many public health officials, claim it is 2-10 times more deadly. Whether it is true or not, this is the narrative.rgag12 said:YouBet said:

It's all about case numbers. Delta is the "bad" strain because it creates the highest case numbers. If you have high case numbers it means you are dealing with an extremely weak virus that can be spread easily.

There is an alternative response. Fatalism, just imagine you are in the 18th C and don't have all the fancy options and have to take what time you have.Rapier108 said:Because the 24/7 drum beat wears down most people. An L of an Ag said:

I'm noticing people who never went full Covidian last year doing it now over the DV.
Just look at the tweets posted on this thread. This is the kind of fear porn being fed to the public.YouBet said:Rapier108 said:Covidians, and many public health officials, claim it is 2-10 times more deadly. Whether it is true or not, this is the narrative.rgag12 said:YouBet said:

We have public data that it's less severe than Alpha and it's been completely memory holed.

well I don't think we need to wear masks what benefit again does the government get out of requiring them? what really benefit do they have of controlling the mask mandate? I don't really see the advantage
