Seems like it would be kind of easy to get away with simply killing one of these punks. Who would GAF enough to even investigate. We need to start killing people.
They will eventually kill them on the Mexican side, no need to worry about that. The issue is that it seems that there is an endless supply of cannon fodder, as that is what they are calling it Mex now, ready to step up and take the place. That is really the big issue, death and dying are not a deterrent to these doped up worthless kids that these groups get. Sad reality, but reality nonetheless.

Since I have been back working in Mex, for the first time in really about 15 years save for in and out stints, it is really eye opening how the value of human life has gone to nothing.

Just as an aside to all of this, I actually have to make a quick trip to Del Rio for a meeting in Acuna this week. Anyone looked at hotel prices there lately? Any of the "upper tier" hotels, i.e. Holiday Inn, Hampton, etc are right at $200 a night and the ones slightly down from them are about $180 a night. Now seeing if I can get a room in Acuna.

McAllen and Brownsville are the same right now. There was an article in the paper on Sunday saying that the occupancy rates right now are on track to break records. And that is with Mexican visa holders not being able to cross the border. This is some of the craziest crap ever. This is all due to the border mess caused by Biden. Hotel owners in McAllen are thrilled, I will tell you that much. Like 2 new ones have opened this year.

I wouldn't set foot in Acuna.

A lot of hotel rooms going to DPS officers, national guard, and other government assets that are getting sent to the border. I would imagine DHS and Biden admin people plus their "charities" are down there trying to manage the optics and keeping tabs on potential enemies of the administration too.

Yep, that is what a portion of it is in the RGV, but the government is also putting up a lot of the illegals in hotels as well. I wonder if that is going on in DRT as well?

I know a bunch of the DPS and other state LEO's that were in the Starr and Hidalgo county area got shifted to Vale Verde and Maverick counties.

This whole deal is an epic goat rope of incredible proportions.

There was a charter bus with like 65 Haitians on it that rolled over south of here, nobody died but several were hurt. It has been in the Mexican news that about 20 or so of the Haitians have disappeared, nobody can find them. This is after they went to the hospital. There is no telling, I mean realistically no real way to know, how many souls have perished and vanished in this whole mess and it is all because of that dimwitted SOB in the whitehouse.

About 31 years ago, there was a "Bowling Alley Massacre" in Las Cruces, New Mexico in which several adults and children were shot and then the bowling alley was set afire. One little girl with something like five or six bullets in her came to and called for help on the telephone.

The highways going in and out of Las Cruces were quickly closed down as they looked for the perps who were never caught.

Shortly before the covid restrictions resulted in meetings being cancelled, I asked a former New Mexico trooper whether she thought that they would ever catch whoever did it. Her reply was a simple, "No. We aren't even looking." I was surprised and asked why. Her answer was that the owner of the bowling alley clearly had some connection with a cartel and that it was a cartel hit. She said that cartel members don't generally live long and so whoever did the massacre was almost surely killed years ago. She didn't think that there was any possibility that the perps were still alive.

I heard and read about that case several years ago, really a wild and tragic deal.

I talked to the NPS at the Amistad National Recreation Area. He confirmed the incident but said he was skeptical it was an incident by any organized drug cartel group. There probably won't be any arrests either. The Mexican boat driver who rammed the US fishermen's boat went back to Mexico. He did not have any indication that the suspect was under arrest in Acuña, either.

Del Rio businesses are worried that the incident will hurt the lake business, however.

I wrote a story about the incident that fills in a few more details here.
