The most fascinating thing about rainbows IMO is that no two people have ever seen the exact same rainbow.
The light that forms the rainbow does so at a specific distance and angle from the observer, and that distance will always remain between you and your rainbow and is unique to you at any given moment. It's also why there is no such thing as "the end of the rainbow".

Also, if anyone has ever seen a moonbow those are way cooler.
