I caught my kids and neighbour kids discussing whether they like rainbows and just rainbow coloured stuff.

My wife and I work hard to shelter our kids from freebasing to the world. Its annoying how hard it is to escape. Every kid should be amazed by a rainbow, and rainbow toys should be awesome. Yet instead they know it has "other" meanings than just looking cool.

How old are your kids?

My 5 year old thinks a rainbow is a rainbow.

7 and 9. They do too but have somehow also learned it has other meanings on a naive level.

I will teach my children what my father taught me. That the mainstream gays are basically petulant children who stole and perverted the rainbow and tried to make it theirs. I will teach them about the death, devastation and destruction reckless gay hedonistic debauchery unleashed on society in the form of AIDS and syphilis just a few decades ago. Basically just teach history and facts.

I'll never forget my father showing me a video testimony of a man who was a teacher at a Houston high school who became a born again Christian and warned of the dangers of that lifestyle. He had bad sores all over his face from full blown AIDS and was a dead man walking, but found happiness and comfort in Christ, and his new lifestyle and values. It wasn't all about the disease either - that lifestyle left him empty. Something many hetero sexual hedonists and adulterers can relate to.

Rainbows used to be beautiful.

Now they just mean sex, sex, sex to a group of very disturbed creepers.

I have three sons. My youngest (9), is as tough and masculine a kid can be at his age. He freaking loves rainbows, and asks every birthday if he can have Lucky Charms for breakfast because he wants to "eat rainbows".

He has come to realize lately that it has a different meaning in society than the one we taught him out of the book of Genesis. He still doesn't care, and knows that I think it's cool that he likes rainbows.

What do you mean "somehow?" Do they go to public school? Do they watch The Disney Channel or Nickelodeon? Any of those would teach the other meanings.

Kids today probably think leprechauns keep a pot of bitcoin at the end of them

My kids view a rainbow in the sky as gods promise and rainbows outside of that have been hijacked by mentally ill child predators.

What he is referring to is degenerates co-opting the rainbow for their symbol. It is becoming harder and harder to shield innocent children from the images that appear in social media.
