Reminder - Klinger was trying to get discharged from Vietnam.

Modern day homo militards call the drag show 'essential to morale'???

These are the end times.

It wasn't the carnage of WWI or the horror of the Holocaust that indicated the end times. Nope, apparently it's a few dudes in dresses telling crass jokes at a US Air Force base. So, either god missed the two aforementioned events or he just has a real sick sense of humor.
It's just another indication of how liberals have ruined the country.

If I were a demi-god and wanted to make a nation destroy itself, I would have it impose every policy that liberals have enacted.

LGBT"Q"????

It's in the alphabet. I'm assuming that means it is acceptable terminology for identification of some subset of persons who choose it as a group name.
You'd think so but no, it's also the same with the NAACP.

Try calling someone "Colored" these days and see where that gets you..

I concur with you on the silly side of things. During my Marine Corps Career I was in what may have passed for a dress once on a US Naval Warship and that was when I crossed the Equator the first time and became a Shellback. Looking back it was a fun day and ritual. Too bad now what we went through then is considered hazing.

Actually I meant I have the traits of a generation Xer to the T, not so much the dates although that falls in line too.

Especially if you wore a dress inspired by a Molly Ringwald character and had Pat Benatar inspired hair.

Never was inspired by Molly Ringwald's style although 16 candles is still one of my favorite teen movies and didn't have the Pat Benatar hair because mine was long but I did have the horrible 80s long spiral perm, the cut out dresses in the middle and during the early 80s, the flash dance cut sweatshirt and leggings to name a few.
Currently a happy listless vessel and deplorable. #FDEMS TRUMP 2024.

U.S. Military Defends Drag Show at Largest Training Center as 'Essential to Morale' (newsweek.com)
Quote:

The Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada hosted its first drag show in order to boost morale and promote inclusivity and diversity, according to the base.

The "Drag-u-Nellis" show was held at the Las Vegas base on June 17. The Nellis Air Force Base Pride committee planned the event, and the Nellis Top 3 sponsored the show.

According to the group's Facebook page, Nellis Top 3 is a "social and professional organization established to enhance the morale, espirit de corps, of all enlisted personnel assigned to the Wing and to facilitate cooperation between members of the top three enlisted grades."

Sponsored by the base Top 3 (top 3 enlisted grades). As an AF brat and 21 year AF veteran, I find this totally unbelievable. It's a sad day for the military IMO when this sort of crap can be promoted on a military installation.
I'm with you NormanAg...

20 year retired Air Force veteran....

I was stationed at Nellis from 1982-1986...Instructor at the USAF Fighter Weapons School...F-16 Division.

That would never have happened in my day!

The Generals and the men and women that ran the place back then were totally focused on winning the next war against America's enemies.

That was the #1 objective........not this social pc crap.

Apparently the USAF leadership at Nellis and other military installations have gone BSC woke.

Sad day indeed!!

So, the AF was so high speed back in the day that it's entire focus was on training for the next war with no entertainment of any kind? No concerts, movies, parties, field days. I call BS.

AF bases were, and still are, the most pampered and comfortable installations in the military. The golf courses are epic. You guys socialized plenty.
You obviously don't get it or understand it.
