Is the processing delay intentional or not? Ignoring the opinions on DACA as whole, it seems like this is creating a crisis where one isn't really needed. We just continue to stick people in limbo, because we seem to be absolutely incompetent to do anything about it.

It already is illegal to hire them. The problem is not the law. And its not the employer side causing the market issues, its the employee side where you have too many other ways to not work and live on the government teet versus roofing houses in Houston in July / August.

We have a substantial part of our workforce unwilling to perform hard labor job duties and we offer them the alternative of free housing, free food, free TV / internet, etc in order for them to continue enjoying air conditioned comfort and no fear of being homeless and starving to death.
