There were advantages to having Fauci..Trump always wanted to "fix things" - Fauci was the "apolitical" face of the administrations response, Trump's attempt at trying to be united over a significant event, in an election year. And If things went south, Fauci could be thrown under the bus.

As it so happens, Trumps response was excellent - given the circumstances - and the MSM gave Fauci all the "credit"

Conservatives blamed Fauci and libs blamed Trump...the media directed people's focus away from their representatives to protect our corrupt politicians.

Covid is partly his creation since he coordinated the funding. Trump gave him unbelievable power which probably made him feel like a God.

That's an insult to David Koresh. Yeah, he wasn't some great patriot as I have heard, but his compound was not raided because of some militia level ammunitions as advertised, but more likely because of some of the people he harbored "knew where the bodies were buried". But just think, what if he WAS a good guy and had ammunitions to protect against a corrupt FBI looking to do a cover-up to clean up operation? Look at the FBI now. Not crazy thinking anymore. Some think he will finally be gone in 90 days. Hope springs eternal. I hear he has a book he is about to release (aka get paid a fortune to go out and publicize/do yet more interviews on), about his life ethos or some crap.

Whatever. Whenever he does step out of his 'public servant' role, American's trust in public institutions/public health officials will grow just a tiny amount.

I'd believe it if we didn't have so many vaccinations out and that really from last year's observations. Right around June/July we saw the south spike as people went indoors for the sweaty balls summer. With where we are with natural immunity, fully vaccinated people, and those recovered from the Wuhan virus, we shouldn't see that same kind of spike.
