Great news! I figured liberal Boston would be a holdout on relaxed Covid restrictions to the bitter end. Maybe now the IL (Blue State) Governor will get with the program and cancel the IL law that requires masks in businesses.
Missouri and St Louis wasted no time in relaxing the rules quite a bit yesterday, with promises of more to come very soon. And a lot of the local St Louis area businesses immediately went to no masks for customers. But their staff will still have to wear masks. I'm sure their customers could care less about that.
But on my side of the river the big chains (Walmart/Target/Home Depot/etc) still have to follow IL law, as well as quite a few St Louis based stores on our side of the river as well (mostly grocery stores).
Oh well, at least much of our country is FINALLY on the right track and headed in the right direction.
Edit: Forgot to add my Catholic wife and and our Catholic grandson (22 years old) got to go to mass without their masks yesterday. The St Louis and our IL County Bishops acted right away after the new CDC edicts were announced.
