Long way to go, but DeSantis is the logical choice at this point. He is a more polished, articulate version of Trump but with the same fight and tenacity. Solid conservative without the baggage. He can also serve two terms if elected in 2024.

This is tricky because we know what we will get from Trump. While I believe that DeSantis would give the same fight but in a more polished manner, there is no certainty. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't.

Oh, that's right. Very important.

Needs to be DeSantis (if he keeps as he is) as long as there is going to be a slate in the center that is willing to risk collectivist socialism and abolition of freedom of speech over just emotional offense over policy. DeSantis can thread that needle to get those votes back easier, and thus give less cover for balloting fraud that is able to hide under an overstated "voted against" rhetoric.

I was never bothered by the Tweets. I want action and results over personality. However, I recognize that not everyone feels that way. So when the option presents itself where one person has both desirable qualities, they're the one for the job!

I can't even imagine why Trump would want to.
So many back stabbing swamp elites in the Republican Party and at his age just enjoy life and let someone else take the baton.
