Running Trump in '24 is a guaranteed loss.

The mainstream media and Big Tech will absolutely not permit him to have access to the voters.

It would make the treatment of his '20 campaign look positively objective.
I understand your logic here, but you think they will let DeSantis (aka Gov. Trump) access the voters?

The fix is in for the long-run with or without Trump on the ticket. They learned how "dangerous" it was for them under Trump. If it is up to them, they won't ever let another Trump happen again. No chance they let a candidate representing the populist-right access the voters.

They have existing reasons to deplatform Trump. Those reasons will continue to exist.

DeSantis has not given them reasons, and he's smart and disciplined enough to continue to avoid giving them reasons.

Fair point, God I hope you're right.

I just think they would "find a reason" to deplatform DeSantis. They might not kick him off the platform, but I bet they limit his reach behind the scenes. I just have zero trust in Big Tech to allow an equal playing field.

The media access big tech has already de-platformed Trump. He will stay de-platformed.

Another candidate won't face those needless obstacles. Will it be fair? Of course not.

But would you rather run a marathon on a 2% grade or a 6% grade? Don't make fights more difficult than they need to be.
They will find an excuse to deplatform anybody to the right of Mitt Romney if they have to do it to win. Trump was just the current target. The only reason they didn't do the same to GWB was that they didn't have enough control to accomplish it back then.

GWB also didn't have the balls to go hard against them.

Doesn't matter. It is their playbook. Every republican candidate is THE WORST!111!!1! Until the next one comes along, and then he is EVEN WORSE THAN (insert name of previous candidate/president). Remember what they had to say about how terrible Romney and McCain were? Even though they were basically on the same team as the mainstream dems? Trump would have been THE WORST no matter how hard he did or didn't go after them.

Everyone that's panicking because Trump is running in 2024 is panicking for the wrong reason. Trump won by a landslide in 2020 and he can do it again. You should be panicking because it doesn't matter what candidate the republicans have the dems will steal the election again.

Needs to be someone else. There are plenty of people out there that want a viable alternative to the crazy left that isn't Trump but will earn the support of the most hard-core Trumpers. Its DeSantis.

Plus Trump is old.

Go ahead and run Trump again.

The only people who think he has a shot of winning are his most hardcore devout supporters.

Most people are absolutely repulsed and sick of the guy, and even more were extremely put off by what his insane supporters did on January 6.

But if he runs in 2024, he will get the nomination before the first primary because he owns the party and anyone who runs against him is automatically a traitor.

And then he'll get his ass kicked by the democrat by an even larger margin than Joe Biden beat him.

But by all means, run that irredeemable, mentally unwell psychopath again and see how it works out for you.
Well,...let's see what Biden does over the next 2 years before you commit to this strong approach. There are quite a few that have buyer's remorse about Biden today. You just might be a Trump Campaign Manager before it's all over.

My suggestion to you is that you figure out which end of the political spectrum you are on, and vote accordingly.

Your ceaseless desire to appear anti-Trump and embrace anything else is frankly bizarre.

I have no desire to "appear" anti-trump. I am very much anti trump. My point is i hope the republicans can nominate a better candidate than trump, so i dont have to decide between trump and kamala.

If its biden vs trump, i will again vote biden.

I couldnt vote hillary when she ran against trump for the same reason i cant vote trump.

As far as which end of the political spectrum im on, i am all over the place. For example, im pro life and anti death penalty. Im for strong border security and im for a path to citizenship for those here illegally. Im for divided govt and im for compromise across the aisle. Those views may seem wrong to you, but they are mine.

You voted Democrat, who is pro choice, weak border security - against a border wall and wants open borders, path to citizenship - the Democrat-way "amnesty", divided govt - compromise across the aisle Mitt Romney style,....Regarding your views, they aren't wrong, you just happened to be confused. Confused to hold those views you state and end up voting Democrat. <SMH>

Curious if you think the first woman was elected VP? (Hint: You do realize that Democrats don't recognize a woman as a sex or a gender....or, do they make an exception for Kamala..)

Voter fraud will be twice as widespread as in 2020.

We laugh at the russians and banana republics when someone would get 90% of the vote.

Lol at us.

We are a single party state now.

You think you helped elect the first woman VP and your Democrat Party doesn't recognize that sex or gender; therefore, according to the Democrat's own recognition policy that person isn't a woman, but you think so. Bottom line,...you're both confused.

All that adds up to is being functionally a Democrat.
