I'd argue that a bigger sign of the decline of our country and culture is the fact that grown men
sit around and watch movies/TV shows about comic book superheroes. I know, I know, to each his own but it just blows my mind how many adults just eat this stuff up. Same can be said for video games. I just don't get it.

Superhero movies are just the latest action genre of "bigger than life" figures.

We have gone through many phases. Westerns, war movies, Rocky, James Bond, whatever.

Everyone likes watching action movies that have the main hero doing the impossible. Suspension of disbelief to enjoy your imagination. Books, tv shows, movies.

Unless you only watch football and read biographies (both of which are great), you have probably taken part in this culture.

Just quit Disney- life will be better.
