I talked today with a high ranking executive of a major company. I won't identify the company, to keep my friend anonymous, but he is with one of the following: Coca-Cola, United Airlines, McDonalds or Walgreens.

I asked my friend specifically what is going on with these big businesses who want to alienate one half of their customer base. His answer was that his company knows what it is doing and doesn't care.

The CEO told him, referring to Republicans/conservatives who care about such things, "Those aren't our customers." He said they could produce marketing studies etc. which show that they're better off towing the line of the dominant left wing culture.

My friend doesn't believe the studies, and he has told the board that everyone's money is green, no matter their political party. To no avail.

He also said that some left wing activists are suing some of the board members, and that probably adds to the fear factor (my interpretation).

So, there you have it. The big corporations are far more scared of angering the left than they are of losing your business. These are decisions made with open eyes.

Soldiers vs fans.
Fans post on Texags.com and Facebook and maybe Twitter, get a beer, watch a ball game, go to work the next day.
Soldiers file lawsuits, picket domiciles and recruit like minded people to file the lawsuits, picket domiciles, etc.

Thank you for sharing.

Exactly my thought reasoning. And I say this as a well off conservative that goes there as a guilty pleasure.

Conservatives are laid back people, slow to anger. These companies are betting on it. We won't do anything, we won't boycott, we won't stop buying baseball tickets (see Rangers opening game)... their bet will pay off.

So maybe Islam would be just as good for business while at least getting rid of sjw-Leftism? There is not much worse than the left wing culture. Even that one.

Notice that as soon as someone suggests Conservatives boycott something, everyone takes issue with it immediately. I used to think it was a principles thing - "we don't do that" - but after seeing the rest of the trash that comes out of mouthpieces I realized it's more of the same controlled opposition pushing the narrative with useful idiots (guilty of it myself) parroting the lines.

It's because RINOs, leftists, etc all know that if only the left throws a fit when it comes to this stuff, then they can continue to be the dominant voice in "corporate activism". It's all part of the uniparty plan.

We need to smash that idea, the same way we've smashed the ideas of trusting the MSM or that Conservatism means never fighting back.

The answer is that they haven't lost enough business yet.

When their wallets and job security start to feel thin, maybe they will realize how incredibly stupid they are.

Oh yes. Stop meandering around with cms and moderates. Its a Left vs Right scenario now. The Democratic MSM Party is full-on Left. Only its counter can contend against it.

OP, thanks for reminding me never to trade at McDonalds. I'm not their customer anyway, so no loss. Ironically my local McD's is next door to Wokebucks but the next building over is Chick-Fil-A. Easy choice.

McDonald's and Coca-Cola definitely have more liberal woke customers. They've been pandering to that demo for years. Nothing new.

U are correct on your fan and soldier analogy. One saving grace is that fans especially of the conservative nature are tuning out many of the diversions that have been in place. What people fail to realize is the other side is at war as we continue to act as if this is just politics. To the left politics is war

True. But at the rate the Left keeps closing off anything good or entertaining and polluting it with their activism, and running down anything that makes the land worthwhile, the more you get to where the only `entertaining' diversion left to the right might be making war on the Left. Its definitely a just casting gas on fire scenario.

Out of the companies you mentioned, if their CEO says that I hope their golden parachute is loaded and ready for deployment.

No large company in a retail business, particularly ones with high competition, limits their potential audience. If they are doing so, then they and for that matter the BoD are not upholding their responsibility to the shareholders and should be removed.

Edited for bad grammar.

If I'm BK, Wendy's and the rest... I'm enjoying watching my competitor go right off the cliff.

They won't be in business if they continue down the hiring for diversity road, especially in management and executive positions.

Did they totally adjust their menu and offerings, hell even their cooking oil, over what American complainers want? nah...

They caved to a much smaller population cause it was hurting their bottom line. When their stock takes it in the shorts cause YoY same store sales fell in half the country, they may care.

It's intentional

corporatism

1. Political Economic system in which power is exercised through large organizations (businesses, trade unions, their associated lobbying efforts, etc.) working in concert or conflict with each other; usually with the goal of influencing or subsuming the direction of the state and generally only to benefit their own socioeconomic agendas at the expense of the will of the people, and to the detriment of the common good.

2. The influence of large business corporations in politics.

3. control of a state or organization by large interest groups

Obama was big into this and we learned the term "Too big to fail"

The idea is that there are several large companies that are aligned with the government. If you disagree, they lock you out of society.

China is big into this. They are not against billionaires and they encourage large companies. Then they use them for control of the populace and spying on adversaries.

Notice what happened to Jack Ma when he criticized the Chinese government. He disappeared for a while. I'm not even sure he's back . . .
