There you go; Fire Dept. dispatch probably was told "Cup Foods" from Police, but Police may have been told "Park and 38th" by EMS Dispatcher.

This is classic telephone game from childhood.

Dispatchers about to go under the bus.
Sounds like their systems need an overhaul since 80% of their calls are medical. They don't talk with EMS, nor apparently not much with the police either.

What a cluster!

It really shouldn't be funny but as Minneapolis continues to lose officers, response times will go to hell even further without this internal glitch.

Agreed. I can't imagine a current Police Officer's mental state right now. They are taught "guidelines and rules" to do things "by the book," well, what happens when that book gets you arrested as a defendant to a murder charge?

How can you trust anything you just learned?

Side note: If Chauvin is convicted but has proven that he followed everything "to the book," does he have a civil claim against the PD? Probably runs aground of sovereign immunity but its still an interesting question.

Wrongful termination case? Not sure how Minnesota law works on that.

And the media inflames the entire country by calling it racism and white supremacy. If he gets off I hope he pulls a Nick Sandman and sues every MSM outlet in the country.

Midwatch supervisor for Third Precinct. Assigns officer to ride with each other roll call briefings etc.

Come on man! Did nobody watch Hills Street Blues and know what a roll call meeting is?

Sgt. calls a report for a use of force by an officer an "Office Use of Force Report".

He has a good history of reviewing these reports.

THIS is the State's best witness yet. Witness is discussing that a HOBL restrained person must be immediately place in side recovery position to avoid positional asphyxiation.

That's unclear. Lane asked Thao to get his hobble out of Lane's bag but not sure it was ever used.as Lane remained at his feet. (I think it was Lane.)

What's HOBL?

Think hog tie. Feet are strapped together and attached at waist to prevent kicking.

He wasn't sure if it was just a simple takedown that doesn't require a report. So he called to investigate it further and he called Chauvin on cell phone, Chauvin says he was about to call and ask for witness to come out.

I think murder should be off the table, but can he still be charged for manslaughter?
