Which means his knee WASN'T on the neck. Then the defense inferred that the EMTs could have caused the patient to not have received care in a timely manner bc they didn't go straight to the hospital.

Dispatch sent Fire to Cup Foods? Did ambulance not communicate relocation to Dispatch prior to Fire being requested?

He just answered. Two separate dispatchers with delayed information. Sounds like Minnesota failed Floyd in more ways than just drug rehab.

Not necessarily. To promote to captain usually requires some intelligence and good study habits, similar attributes needed to pass medic school. So you will usually see the 2 go hand in hand. But there is no state requirement that a captain has to be a medic.

We have several Capt/EMTs that I trust 100x more than some Capt/Medics.

And that contradicts what the very first witness, Jena Scurry, the dispatcher said about how their system works. The printout of the entire sequence of events as communicated related to the 911 call from Cup Foods over the fake $20.

He definitely said that he did not recognize the off-duty firefighter that testified earlier when he got there and walked past her. Which goes to the defense's argument that the cops would have no reason to know that she was a firefighter despite her screaming at them.

So who is lying? I missed that witness. I feel like the defense has a really strong argument that the delayed response time hurt Floyd's chances.

But that doesn't even address whether the knee caused his death.

I don't know at this point. But there definitely was a screw up somewhere. Might have been on the fire end since they have a different dispatcher but I truly understood that EMS was directed by MPD dispatcher. That's what she said, anyway.
