He asked one other question (whether she presented ID as a firefighter) and then closed the cross examination.

Prosecution followed up by asking if she was carrying her ID, and she responded no.

Noted that Floyd was a big guy. Casual conversation with him. Asked him if played baseball but it took him long to reply and meandered, he thought Floyd was high.

He's the clerk who dealt with George and took the counterfeit bill. Seems pretty smart compared to the other witnesses we've heard from.

He's mentioned that Floyd was big, and that he seemed intoxicated (he took a long time to respond to some questions).

Yes. We see prosecution witnesses first, until they rest their case. Defense gets to cross examine them after the prosecution is done, then a chance for both sides to ask further questions before they're dismissed.
