Both bills that from the passenger earlier and from Floyd were counterfeit. They resembled and could have been the same 20, I guess is the point here.

Overheard the 911 caller say Floyd appeared to be intoxicated. That info was relayed from dispatch to the responding officers.

Says he rejected the bill from the man in the red hat who was with Floyd because he felt he was trying to "scheme" like he knew it was fake. But he took it from Floyd because he didnt think Floyd was aware that it was fake, so he felt like it would be doing him a favor and he would tell his manager to put the cigs on his tab.

I feel bad for this kid. Sounds like he tried to do the right thing several times and its clear he still blames himself for Floyd's situation.

Martin was trying to be polite in asking them to come back into the store in the first attempt.

In the second attempt, they ran out of the store because they didn't want them to get away.

Sounds like Floyd was like John Coffey from The Green Mile.

It's refreshing how straight forward the witness is acting toward the defense. Not combative or defensive.

This witness has been on the stand for like 2 hours and I don't think we've learned anything relevant to the charges.

Were I Nelson I would have asked him if he had told Floyd and the others that if they didn't come back into the store the cops would be called??
