I don't understand. Aren't those two positions ideologically the same? I'm so confused.

They are

But remember, according to leftist, diversity simply means "not white"

A group of 100 people who are all black women with the same views and ideologies is "highly diverse" to lefty

Here is what the Diversity of your neighborhood (in College Station) should look like based only on the facts.

White people want their kids to know gangsta rap music exists so they can vilify it, but they don't want their kids to listen to it.

Same thing for black people and David Allen Coe music.

"Diversity" usually means letting a handful of tokens in your circle as proff you are inclusive but continuing to keep a suspicious eye on them so you have a convenient scapegoat if something bad happens. It is not unique to any one race or culture.

Yes, but they skillfully word it so it seems white people are bad for that position.

BTW, did you guys know that from day one of the nation, whites have been in perpetual fear of genocide, even though they made up 98% of the population. Whites have colonized and controlled most of the globe, but white genocide was always lurking.

I don't think so. The white perception is actually diversity representative of our country. The other is a "reverse" racist perception of diversity.

However, compared with white participants, Latino, Black and Asian participants rated neighborhoods about a third of a point more diverse when their own group was in the majority. White people, meanwhile, ranked neighborhoods as equally diverse regardless of which group dominated. That finding could help explain why, as recent research suggests, underrepresented minorities often feel out of place even in purportedly diverse settings, Xu says

Nothing says "oppressor" quite like being not being concerned that you aren't part of the "dominant race".

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Those stats are wrong if that is tamu's demographics:

Here is the official link:

https://accountability.tamu.edu/All-Metrics/Mixed-Metrics/Student-Demographics

They don't measure international students but if they did the majority would not be white.

TAMU is 54.4% white, 22.4% Hispanic, 8.8% Asian, blacks 3.3%, 3-4% other and 7+% intl students.

tu is 42.4% white, 20.4% Hispanic, 18.2% Asian, 3.8% black and 3.6% other

CStat looks like this because of income and cost of housing. Those are both a function of education. CStat's ugly steps yet, Bryan, can't match CStat's education and incomes.
