If we had a honest media, half of the DNC would be in prison for treason. Biden would already be 2-3 years into his prison sentence for multiple sexual assaults. Hillary would be serving a life sentence for accessory-to-murder charges for at least 25-40 people. Kamala Harris would still be on Willie's lap and Nancy Pelosi would have been living in an Substance Abuse facility for the last 15 years.

The media was already running an attack campaign on Trump before he was even inaugurated. The intel agencies were already sabotaging him, and the media was already telling lies about how he moved a bust that he didn't move, for example.

On results, you have to be a partisan hack to say the Trump admin was bad for anything. We had the best economy ever before COVID, we have three COVID vaccines in record time, we didn't get into any new wars and peace was breaking out in the middle east. We became energy independent.

But the media's non-stop attack campaign got enough people to bubble a ballot that landed in their mail unsolicited to barely defeat Trump, assuming there was no actual fraud.

If his handlers can't limit him from the public eye, his stumbling and bumbling shows up and is getting worse. His approval rating can'n be expected to do well. Wonder why no State of the Union address? Couple that with the increasing (tax) burden on the working class through increasing energy prices, people have to notice and become unhappy.

Biden wasnt even endorsed by his old boss, Obama, until April of last year. The guy is a stop gap at best.

not terribly surprising. presidential politics are a lot more polarized these days. plus, biden didn't exactly ride in on a massive wave of enthusiasm or goodwill. he was elected mostly because he wasn't trump, but that doesn't exactly guarantee you high net approval once you're on the hook for governing.

But wait, this can't be true. The Hill claimed that he had a 60% approval rate.

Well he was already a hold-your-nose, lesser evil vote for a lot of people who just despised Trump, and that's a weird coalition that was never going to hold in the absence of Trump. You can't govern in a way that is going to appeal to the progressives AND the never-Trumper Republicans AND the mainline Dem establishment folks. He could get those groups to like him more than Trump and pull the lever for him, but now that he's in and has to actually do (or not do) stuff, he's inevitably going to lose some of them.

Which isn't to say Biden/the Dems couldn't be doing a better job of making people happy with them, they are doing a terrible job of making good on their promises and delivering a message people can get behind.
