I wear a mask whenever I go to the grain elevator, even if it is 3 am and I'm the only one there.
Why? Seriously. Why?
Dust. With a mask, there is at least some chance that I won't have to take Benadryl which tends to put me to sleep for hours.

Because grain dust is a constant problem around grain storage facilities and hard on the sinuses and lungs. He maintains an Internet radio antennae on the elevator.

And he thinks he's being cute.
I'm so used to wearing masks at the grain elevator for the last 15 or 20 years, it doesn't bother me at all to wear one if it makes someone else feel better or on the chance that it might help limit the spread of the disease. I just don't see it as a big deal worth worrying about.

If anything, the typical masks people use for covid are a lot more comfortable than those I've been wearing in the grain elevator.

I was skeptical at first, but yes, they are very good. The spicy one has a good bit of kick to it.

My wife had a yeast infection too. Too much grain in the elevator.

She didn't freak out about it though.

Went to McDonalds here in Minneapolis. Drive thru guy takes my card with a hand with TWO gloves on, puts the card in the machine, runs it with his ungloved hand, pulls it out WITH HIS UNGLOVED HAND puts it back into his gloved hand to hand it to me.

The sheer dumb****ery on display because of a weak respiratory virus is proof that our educational system is a LOLfail.

Was at a Burger King months ago, they held out a plastic bin about the size of a shoebox to take and return my debit card.

Same at SA BKs.

They also use those to hand you the food they just touched. And their idiotic plexiglass makes it even harder.

Half the time, with their dumbass masks and the plexiglass, I'm at their mercy with whatever they're actually saying because I can rarely make it out and just nod.

I drove home from Port A yesterday on the outskirts of Mathis there was a family having to change a tire. Mom was sitting on her sizable backside about 10 yards up the hill while dad changed the tire. Mom was wearing a mask with what I assume were her 3 children.

And when they are on the sidelines they need to mask up. Because the virus is dangerous outside of the playing field. On the field today are good.

Ski resorts are off their rocker with it...

Masks in a lift line at 10,000 feet in a driving 30mph wind.

Masks outside anywhere in ski village.

But buy a to-go beer any everything is cool.

Lift lines don't exist at 10,000 feet as that's summit level and at 10,000 feet with 30 mph wind only a fool doesn't have a mask on. Did your rocker break and you hit your head? Also, 30 mph winds is right at the edge of lifts being shut down.

Try again.

The lift in question was Northwoods Express in Vail, which begins at 9,717ft. It was probably a 20-25mph wind.

So while technically correct, you are still an *******.

I can't remember where but my daughter and I saw some workers at Chick-fil-A wearing these in the drive thru line...they basically looked like red Dots Candies walking around outside.

I was not wearing my mask in a store last week and a child (8-9 years old) yelled "put your mask on dude."

Of course the kid was in school at 11am. Of course he was morbidly obese. Of course his mother didn't even notice her fat kid is yelling at random dudes in the store.

I never wear a mask and hope I'm confronted by a mask nazi every time I go into a store. My immediate response to Chunk would have been, " **** you and your mother".

my personal favorite is all of the restaurants near me have "outdoor" dining which is an enclosed wedding tent. the very limited indoor dining is fun to have to mask up to walk 15 feet to your table then sit for the next hour maskless before masking up to leave.

and since masks are legally required indoors, I love the fact that every single person I see of a particular color doesn't know how to cover their nose. i don't give a flying f since they're useless, but funny nonetheless.

A couple on a hiking trail in 25 mph wind wearing masks. As we approach they walk 10 feet off the trail and turn their backs to us while waiting for us to pass. Comes across as more of a virtue signal than personal protection.

I'd really like to talk to people like this to see what their understanding is, but it'd probably hurt my head.

Behind my work there is a park. The Park is by an elementary school and also a track me and a coworker walk in the afternoon.

There was a guy in his 20s throwing a disc from one soccer goal to another. By himself fully masked. We kept staring at him. Frigging dork.

Anither time we were walking and the kids had masks on. We were walking the track and some little brat yells.

"NO MASK, NO MASK!! We kept walking. The teachers didn't say anything.

A salty WW2 vet at Mass can barely walk but I've never seen him wear a mask, yet a young couple, late 20's, and their 2 kids, under 6 yrs old, all masked up sitting in the same pew as him. That old man has seen and lived through dangerous times and he knows this made up bs isn't anything to worry about.
