Some guy on Rogan's podcast a few months ago proposed a political system like this...you have a Republican President and Dem VP for 4 years, then they switch roles. The vote takes place to elect each side's representative.AAggie said:

Other Republicans need to emulate his successful blend of the (accurate) Trump take of the Media as foe of the right and something to be dismissed, and yet with more of the decorum and presentation of DeSantis in also answering concerns. Trump would never have been this articulate, but even 25% more articulate would have worked. He just needed to tone it back the last couple years, get elected, then do and say practically whatever he wanted the next four years.

And overconfidence is what lulled Hillary and the Dems into lackadaisical practices, until the last month when their polling showed Trump gaining share into...the traditional union workers and displaced middle class workers in flyover country. And they panicked...
