Pence is getting the Brett Favre treatment. Loved until his apparently traitorous move, (now is jersey burning season), but when tempers calm and understanding soaks in I expect a reconciliation. (Unacceptance of electors was a crazy hail mary with massive ramifications, very low chance of success, and high likelihood of riots or worse)

You know Nixon rejected Hawaii's electors in 1960, right?

Weren't there two sets of electors and he chose the electors from the Democratic Party?

Pence took a bad beating. His first, maybe only opportunity to become a National leader, and he is saddled with Trump. This will be hard to gloss over if / when he ever decides to run again. At least in the end, Pence decided to do the right thing.
