The Politics of Our Education and Indoctrination: Why We Must Act Preemptively

Lately, with the propaganda style news clips of riots and law enforcement, I have begun to contemplate my upbringing in the public school system. Luckily, I was moved to a private Catholic school for high school, but the foundations were already set, and for many of my peers the damage was already done. I think the main issue is based on economic and social policy that has disrupted the natural family dynamic and forced most families into schooling their children in public schools because the average person is not financially able to support one parent working or to afford a private school. At least when you account for the rampant consumerism of today's world that drains the bank accounts of average people.

Recently, I remembered a time when I was young and in school. Many of these memories happen to be from around the ages 10 to 13 when many children have the intelligence to recognize and internalize complex lessons, but not so much that they can recognize indoctrination. Many of these lessons that I received focused on the WWII and the Holocaust. The rest focused on slavery and mainly civil rights. They were taught with zero nuance and no opposing opinion. We all know the mainstream curriculum, but Hitler did not rise to power because of inherent evil and hatred within the heart of every German, and the pre-1960's world was not the world of evil White men who hated everyone who is not like them. Many of these lessons to children were accompanied by images of race riots and death camps. Looking back, it seems to have been bombarded into me and taught as a cornerstone of my education. When you neglect further exposition on these time periods, these lessons can be stripped down to a singular point, "White people are evil." Especially for students who are not fully engaged and only absorb the cherry picked images of White policemen using firehouses and dogs to suppress violent riots or photographs of smiling Germans and starving jews. For the most part, these examples are just a part of the indoctrination and "education" process that goes on in public schools. These are the most obvious and frequently taught, but it seems that every single lesson plan is taught with this perspective. In my time, it seemed math was the only exception, but now I believe that common core is meant to hinder the brightest students and make them believe correct answers are only available through the affirmation of the authority figure, the teacher.

As for the individual teachers within the public school system, this is not an exclusive indictment on them. Many teachers probably began excited to help and educate the next generation, however the Education Departments in college are bastions of liberalism and a long-time target of infiltrating Marxists. Many of the teachers today grew up in the same public school system as me and were further indoctrinated through their choice of major. When these teachers begin teaching full time, they are probably deluded into believing they are instilling justice and peace in the future generations while they are actually eroding family values and increasing division. Even so, many teachers most likely become jaded with their job, as well all do. When this happens, they stop caring about each child and treat their students as a means to a paycheck. On top of this, they are beholden to their administration and their unions. Many times, they are both beholden to liberal school boards. All of these people who have no interest in raising your children to be their best possible selves, but instead to raise efficient workers who will follow their agenda and vote in accordance with their beliefs.

This cycle is further perpetuated by the current culture in America. America is dependent on TV and take-out food. I am sure many here are not the worst perpetrators, but these two things have had a disastrous effect on an entire generation of people. A home cooked meal that a family shares together is an important part of the upbringing of a child. If more parents were spending this time with their children (TV = OFF) and learning what their children were taught, there would have been parents marching on schools a long time ago. At the very least, doing whatever they can to pull them out of classes and teach them at home. It all fits into the Marxist plan of destroying the traditional family. The child is raised by the government in a public school for 7-8 hours a day, fed by a multinational corporation with chemical filled foods, and entertained by a propaganda filled television or screen for the time they are at home.

I was schooled in this fashion throughout the 2000's, but I can only imagine the changes that have come since then. In my opinion, public school has the been the single most destructive force in our society for at least the last 30 years, maybe longer. I think a major part of my rant is to get some people to realize from a younger person's point of view how perverted this system has become. How easily a family can fall into the trap of TV and lack of bonding time to allow the indoctrination to take place. Many people focus on colleges as the hotbeds of indoctrination, but the seeds are sown far before children even contemplate going.

What is the solution? Barring any major change in Education departments in colleges and governments, it is drastic. As I mentioned earlier, many are not in a position to home school or send their kids to a well-intentioned private school. I think the most effective is to home school your children, if you have the ability. Personally, I think it is so important to the upbringing of a child that a couple should consider serious lifestyle changes just to accommodate that. There will never be a single person who cares about the health and well-being of your child as much as you do. The easiest fix is the spend time with your family and take an active part in your child's education is you are not already doing so. Look at their curriculum, ask them what they learned and do not accept "nothing" for an answer. The best time to do so is every night during a family dinner.

To conclude, I honestly believe we are at a tipping point with the education of our children. The generation coming after Gen Z is at serious risk of being indoctrinated and educated with false information at a rate that will ensure the liberal/Marxist ideology and agenda is the only one in this country.

As a note for teachers, or those close to any teachers: I had many wonderful educators growing up in public and private school. I will say, for the most part, they were outnumbered by their counterparts who either did not care or were actively involved in this indoctrination process. While I believe homeschooling is the best option for all children, I understand it is not possible for everyone today and good teachers are absolutely essential.

I don't know all the answers, but the following should be implemented post haste:

Bring back Shop class and Home Ec. Home Economics should be a required course for everyone.

Bring back vocational programs. Not everyone is cut out for college and there's too many college degrees that are worthless in today's job market. Give kids a head start on HVAC repair, auto repair, electrician, plumbing, etc. Pair it with an apprenticeship program.

Get rid of common core and reemphasize government/civics and economics classes.

Drop No Child Left Behind. Kids should be taught separately based on intelligence.

Want to win the education war?

Stop requiring a B.S. degree for employment at your workplace.

Push, support, and nominate candidates that shrug off the diploma mill mentality. Mentor young adults that want career paths outside of a 4 year degree.

When a non 4 year degree career path is viable for things other than "technician" type jobs you will bleed universities dry.

We all say great things about Mike Rowe and his mission, but how many of us have sat down with our kids and tell them, "you know A&M isn't the best path, let's go look at TSTC".

The only reason a college degree is now required is businesses can no longer do aptitude testing because it is seen discriminatory and racist.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Not to **** talk our Family, but I would rather higher the top half of TSTC than any person who graduates with Ag Leadership or Interdisciplinary Studies.

the takeaway from learning about slavery and the holocaust when you're a kid is that humans (even in the western world where we often feel like we're above the ethnic conflicts common in the global south/east) can commit unbelievable atrocities upon one another when hatred on the basis of race/ethnicity is allowed to be taken too far.

if your retrospective assessment of that lesson has been stripped down to just "white people are evil" then that speaks more to your own problems than those of the public education system.
