I do not believe that masks prevent the spread of Covid, but now we have an opportunity to prove that I am not correct in my belief.

Cedar fever is beginning in the state of Texas and thousands of you are allergic to the juniper pollen that will soon be filling the airways.

So I am putting out a request to those Aggies who are allergic to pollen, and also are fervent mask wearers to assist in an informal science test.

Everyday record the pollen level in your area and wear your mask at all times, and record the type of mask that you are using/frequency of changing masks, etc. No medications are allowed to prevent allergies.

If you go through the season with no adverse pollen reactions then report it here and I will review the results and if positive I will become a mask wearer.

Deal?

According to this, at 15 microns, pollen can't even be inhaled. I see no issue.

We all know you are awesome, but what happened to you earlier in the year that caused hospitalization?

Wasn't taking care of myself. Was septic, from a wound I'd let fester (workaholic), my 'beetus was unchecked and all sorts of self-inflicted issues. As you'd expect, the only thing that can take this pimp out is...this pimp. Hell, I've been hit by an F150 that came flying through a garage/wall and not a scratch.

My youngest daughter has bad allergies especially cedar and she wears a MU2 sport mask when cedar or other things are high. I know those mask work pretty well for allergies and since Covid is what uses at school.

Mmmmmmm... So the virus doesn't just free float out of people's lungs. The mode of transportation are respiratory particles. If you can block the respiratory particles then obviously you can stop MUCH of the spread with the right mask (surgical masks with 3 ply etc.). It still amazes me how so many people make arguments without first doing some HW. Is over 3 thousand deaths a day still not an issue, along with now wait times much longer for ER general procedures a concern?

3,000 deaths per day x 30 days per month = 90,000 deaths per month x 12 months per year = 1,080,000 deaths per year?

You and your kind are fear-mongering losers
