The annual incidence rate for Bell's palsy within the general population is around 23 cases per 100,000 people or 15-30 per 100,000 people, according to some population studies. Translating that to the trial's four cases out of 38,000 trial participants, it computes to only 11 cases per 100,000 people.

Idk what the truth is here...but using USA today fact-checking as evidence is like consulting a teenager with bad grades

from another post which makes mincemeat of your post:

"So the 30 in 100000 is over a person's entire life versus 4 in 40000 that got it in a short time window after taking the vaccine. Chances of me getting it from the vaccine is higher than me getting it in the next 10 to 20 years if I don't."

It's not funny
I've got a slightly older sister in the hospital right now with COVID and she has fluid on her lungs....very sick. She would have wanted the vaccine beforehand and not her situation now. I'll take my chances with the vaccine.

Objecting to one vaccine is not objection to all vaccines. How insincere.

OK. There are those who won't. That doesn't make them anti vaxxers. Many will wait to see how it affects people like you up there on your high horse. If you get palsy or some other adverse reaction that handicaps you for life, they might not take it at all. There is very little risk from covid if you are < 50 with no comorbidities. Maybe you dont know that.

This is an actual headline:

COVID-19 vaccine trials report cases of brief facial paralysis. That's not as scary as it sounds.

How embarrassing. Annual = yearly from the Latin root "annos".
It was literally in the post you quoted.

You can't draw a conclusion about it until a year has gone by and you sum up the cases. That stat in no way, shape or form proves that it's not causal.

15-30 cases per 100,000 in the general population even without the vaccine.

Half a million Americans signed up for trials......if half got the vaccine......do the math.

Hell I already got Ball's palsy why would I take a chance on getting Bell's palsy.

And not one damn thing about this Is funny anymore! I have seen 85 year old women on oxygen get it and survive With no long term effects and 45 year old men get it and have to spend a week in the hospital and nearly die!

You are not going to be able to run from it, so no need of trying to hide!
