He said he wont treat the DOJ as HIS justice department because it's the PEOPLE'S justice department and he will allow them to operate with independence.
Really?
So when did Capt. Alzheimers grow this new-found respect for the DOJ? Was it before or after he served as VP in the same administration where the AG declared himself to be the "president's wingman"?
I mean since he didn't resign, one can assume he was in lockstep agreement with 0 on the appropriateness of that notion.
Any idea?
Are you saying Biden called the AG his wingman ? Biden is saying he wants the DOJ to work with independence and he wont tell them who to prosecute . What is wrong with that ? In contrast to the clown in office now that fires and pouts when the DOJ doesnt do his bidding. As I said, the proof is in the pudding, but I just said I liked his answer.
During the 0 administration, then AG Eric Holder described himself as 0's "wingman".
When last I checked, Capt. Alzheimers was VP during the entirety of the 0 administration.
As he just said he would have resigned if he had disagreed with 0 while he was VP, I assume he agreed with 0 that the proper role for the AG is to be the "president's wingman".
And that the proper role for the DOJ was to lie to the FISA courts by presenting knowingly false information in order to get and then continue permission to spy on the opposition party's nominee, then president elect, then president?
So if it was good that 0 treated the DOJ as HIS justice department when he was president, but it is now bad to do so, when during the previous 4 years did he grow his new-found respect for an independent DOJ?
It's not a difficult question.
