Yep. It's terrible what the FBI has become, or what they've always been? Who wouldn't like to get out there and solve this crime and maybe make some arrests

Honestly it could have just been a test case for how quickly america will ignore and forget anything, no matter how absurdly horrible.

What happened was this:
DC FBI office declared it was ISIS. Once that happpens ALL terrorist investigations go through DC office. DC office then flew to LV and took ALL evidence back to DC. 24 hours later declared NOT ISIS. DC office STILL has all the evidence under lock and key.
Personal Opinion: spook operation. You'll never hear anything about it.

My guess is the feds pissed him off and he went rogue. They knew he'd do something but they never thought he'd go off of the rails this far.
The case was swept under the rug in order to keep whatever he was involved in confidential and to avoid more embarrassment to the FBI and whomever was assigned to handle this guy.

I think it's one of the weirder things to happen in our lifetime. It was so blatantly and abruptly removed from the universe. There's just no way it isn't government related.
