They ban you if you're too firmly conservative. It happened to me on /r/news. That was the biggest impetus of me going to an alternative site called Ruqqus. It's free speech (except for obviously illegal things). I'd rather be on a site where I can tell a far right wing ******* to screw off than have my speech heavily censored.

Reddit has gone downhill in the worst ways and deserves to fade.

Well if you haven't noticed there is an influx of new posters pre and post election. Lots of bans, long bans handed out to long term posters while rookies and new comers get a pat on the wrist for any wrong doing.

There are people leaving and the void is being filled with agitators and leftists.

This board used to be one of my favorite places to visit and a great news aggregator until the past year or so. Now I find this place a shell of it's former self.

This board is falling victim to the same kind of censorship as other forms of social media and it is falling fast.

If y'all are bored go to the Aggie SubReddit and post something along the lines of "Corona is not that bad, you don't have to worry about it" and watch the triggered students lose their *******ed minds.

You will get downvoted to oblivion, your comment goes to the bottom and is then hidden and then deleted. Rinse and repeat.

There are more liberals on this board than anytime I can remember in the last 14 years I've been on here. I strongly disagree with moderators censoring political positions if they do so. I thought it was entertaining when we had a real live communist on here last week. Echo chambers are boring, the more diversity of thought the more fun it is.

It's international. So the European posters are crazy left wing.

Also, it's tyrannical through the vote system. Leftist rage and down vote everything they disagree with. Conservatives aren't as likely to downvote the liberal idiots. So the leftwing stuff rises to the top.

I don't understand how anyone can even tolerate the functionality of it much less the ideology. The structure of the site itself is unusable. This site's structure is gold standard and I find myself unable to even use most other sites even just browsing because it's hard to follow anything.

They are most certainly racist, anti Christian, and far left. Just the polar opposite of what you consider disgusting on the right. This was even worse than what we see on here said about Liberals and it was unanimous. At least here there is some pushback.
