Not like the trump administration and elected republicans, who are currently falling all over themselves to claim credit for the vaccine under Operation Warp Speed - which Pfizer was NOT associated with and took no money from.

Trump did the same thing for Pfizer and the other pharmacuticals that he did for all American companies that helped create the best economic expansion in decades back in 2017. He set a favorable climate by cutting government red tape and regulations so that businesses could function and do what they do best - create products and services - without the heavy hand of government throttling innovation and production.agjacent said:

While Trump didn't invent the vaccine, he provided a climate favorable to pharmacuticals so they could produce one and then he gave them a clear mandate to proceed with haste, and he should get credit for that.

What do years of past research into coronaviruses, which the entire medical research field worldwide has access to, have to do Operation Warp Speed again? How does Operation Warp Speed in any way impact the starting line that these pharmaceutical companies all began from?
