Just got a screenshot from her. Also, buddy of mine knows someone in AZ that confirmed he got a sharpie as well. Unreal.

This is one I haven't paid attention to: did using a sharpie cause misread ballets?

Thanks in advance.

And you do realize the AZ Attorney General has already confirmed it was false and those done with sharpie are being counted along with everyone else. But of course, since Trump didn't confirm, you won't believe it

Pretty sure I've seen the SOS and a few other officials indicate the sharpie scantrons are fine.

Edit: Zombie is right it was the AG

Still shocked that it's 2020 and there are places that don't use computers.

Any voter in AZ can check the status of their ballot.

Republicans still better put lawyers in there to look at the groups of invalidated ballots. You still investigate it and don't brush it off.

They showed the counting machine accepted and properly counted a statistically significant test run?

Sounds like it is an optical scanner and the computer won't read them when the wrong type of pen/marker is used.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Filled out a ballot in NC with a pen and then scanned it myself into the computer. Waited for the confirmation that it was received before I left.

Yes...there is also a video going around online, interviewing a girl who just left a polling place.

There are videos on twitter about this. There was a thread before the election on TexAgs about this. Now, these votes are being kicked out. The poll workers forced voters to use the sharpie and yanking pens out of people's hands.

No like voting on a computer.

With all the technology we have people are still handwriting ballots.

Insane to me.

This is just more misinformation as usual. Go ahead, sue the state. Waste millions of tax payer money yet again. Neither side can resist suing each other, investigating each other and nothing ever gets done. This will continue until the fall of America

Those checking online to find out their votes invalidated can't blame the sharpie!

All this talk about dems "stealing the election". Where's the evidence??

On the other hand, you have Scott Baio whining about sharpies, and the Trump campaign calling to stop the counting, and suing states for legitimate election practices that have taken place for years, all before the final votes have been counted. If you haven't figured out who this guy is yet I really, really feel for you. He quite obviously has no problem taking an orange dump on unfettered democracy.

The bleed through to other things doesn't matter. Have these people not taken a test recently?

I was a teacher 3 years ago. Part of my job at the end when a kid turned in their test was to make sure that there were no additional marks anywhere other than the bubbles. If I noticed one, I would have to ask the student if he/she would like to go through and make sure there are no additional markings on your answer document. Some did look over it and some didn't.

This was done so that the machines in Texas where they scanned the STARR tests did not try to read that marking as some sort of blip and give the kid an error message.

Same damn thing on these machines. If they were getting an error, it was most likely this.

So that's not true. Trump campaign called to stop voting after the deadline.

If you haven't figured out that the media is feeding you false information about Trump that you simply parrot without bothering to fact check, I really, really feel for you.

Governemnt gridlock is the foundation of our freedoms.

Gridlock is not a bug in our sustem, it's a feature. And arguably the single most critical one.
