Twitter has become a drug. The same people that bash twitter/facebook are the sames ones who can't quit.

Not on either and bash it constantly.
Twitter has replaced the traditional news article or press release. It's where breaking news happens.FPS_Dough said:

People don't have to be members of Twitter or like the decisions of the company on freedom of speech to react or post about stories that are part of the national discussion. All you have to be is a Prog or a Leftist and post that take and you're good to go !
There are a lot that aren't in that 50 million that still see Twitter. Many of my friends are not on Twitter, but it reaches them too. The juicy bits tend to circulate to a lot of folks who would never sign up.texaglurkerguy said:
Folks have a tendency to overestimate what they see on twitter (and other social media silos they've nestled into, this forum included) as evidence for how things actually are in the world. Twitter has fewer than 50 million active users in the US, so the vast majority of Americans aren't even on there.

True, but it's fun to watch Trump throw a complete wrench into it though.DC79er said:fifyGigem314 said:Twitter has replaced the traditional news article or press release. It's where breaking news happens.FPS_Dough said:
