Plexiglass shield is smart political theater. Won't be as effective as the SC guy bringing his own in the debate with Lindsey Graham, but my guess is it'll play well.

Isn't the indications currently that the debate rather than the ACB nomination may have been the event?

And in which case, I think the part they need to watch more closely is the pre-stage and after-stage phase of it--- not the part when the candidates are clearly separated on stage by a good distance. The weak points would come before that and in the crowd and follow-ups.
